Even though Phyllis first turned down Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) job offer, it seems that she will ultimately change her mind and accept it, taking on a new challenge.

Her choice involves more than just working for Adam; it also entails working on the merger with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).

Given the suffering Phyllis inflicted on her daughter Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) when she faked her own death, there will undoubtedly be some initial tension in this collaboration.

It won’t be simple for Kate to mend her shattered connection with Summer, especially since Summer’s marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has broken down.
