According to ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is still Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) source of support and inspiration throughout her trying time.
Chance decides to cheer Summer up after observing her struggle with the dissolution of her marriage. During one of his attempts to make her day better, he is successful in making her laugh and sharing heartwarming moments with her.
The problem is not, however, as simple as it first appears. While waiting for Sharon to finish some work, Chance asked Summer to the picnic, which he may have organized to meet Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
When Sharon comes and notices Summer seated next to Chance, she is unsure because she wonders about their relationship.

Sharon may want Chance to be open about his feelings for Summer and whether there is more than just friendship between them, even though they haven’t established exclusivity. If such a circumstance happens, Sharon might think about withdrawing given her experience with love triangles.
On the other hand, Chance might reassure Sharon that she is the one with whom he sees a future, which might spark a discussion about whether or not they should make their relationship formal.
Sharon might take a new tack on the situation, perhaps by looking for information or detecting any chemistry between Chance and Summer. She might even conduct a “pop quiz” to mockingly gauge Chance’s emotions.
Summer had to intervene and throw a major monkey wrench into the plans of Chance and Sharon just when we were starting to get excited! Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) did a good job.
We’ll have to watch to see how things develop for Sharon and Chance, as The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Sharon’s love life may undergo some adjustments.
