Viewers of EastEnders 'work out' Fatboy is still alive following an important flashback hint.

Fans of EastEnders were ecstatic to see Fatboy make an unexpected appearance in a flashback scene following his passing eight years prior.

Viewers of EastEnders speculate that Ricky Norwood’s Fatboy may still be alive after detecting an important connection in his flashback scene.

The residents of Walford believed Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) had perished in prison, so they were shocked to see her return in Tuesday night’s episode.

However, it turned out that she had returned to Albert Square nine years earlier after hearing the news that her daughter Lucy Beale had passed away.

Cindy was prevented by Mary, her police handler, despite wishing to return to her home.

She had indicated that the Beales or the Knights wouldn’t be safe because she was under witness protection following an event in prison.

However, as the flashback unfolded, a well-known character made a brief appearance as Cindy ran across Fatboy, who she was unfamiliar with.

Fatboy was acting strangely as he informed the two women that he was meeting his mates for a game of pool after asking them the time.

Though fans were overjoyed to see him return to the soap opera, many think his encounter with Mary wasn’t a coincidence because they think he wasn’t actually killed off all those years ago.

“Why else would they show Fatboy specifically if he wasn’t going to meet Mary later for his own witness protection,” questioned @sukiologist. Trust me, he’s still alive. (sic)

Despite the fact that his demise was never revealed, Fatboy was killed off in 2015 following a case of mistaken identity, and his body was seen being loaded into a car’s boot.

Although it’s possible that Fatboy is hiding after being mistakenly targeted, especially in light of Cindy’s reappearance, who was also thought to be dead.
