Wendy Posner, a character in Emmerdale, has been having a passionate relationship with Doctor Liam Cavanagh, but she is attempting to hide it from her partner Bob Hope after he revealed her deceit.

Wendy Posner, played by Susan Cookson on the ITV serial, may soon experience heartbreak after Cathy Hope, played by Gabrielle Dowling, visits the hamlet.

In an effort to get better from her health concerns, the teen departed Emmerdale this spring and moved in with her brother in the Lake District.

Her violent mood swings and heavy period were so awful that she accidently hurt her father Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) when she yelled at him.

Cathy began taking vodka bottles to escape her problems because she was unable to concentrate on her studies.

She is planning to go back to the Yorkshire Dales to start anew, but has she truly recovered?

Has she been able to change things in the last months?

Her return raises severe concerns for Cathy because her father is recovering from a heart attack.

She soon nevertheless leans on Wendy to admit that she is still having problems.

Despite Bob’s anxieties, Wendy is striving hard to maintain their relationship.

Will Wendy be conflicted between Cathy and Bob and decide to support only one of them while they go through their emotional difficulties?

If Bob chooses to leave Wendy so he may devote his attention to Cathy, could Wendy suffer a heartbreak?

Before being discovered, Wendy had been seeing Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) behind Bob’s back for months.

The revelation of the affair was not well received by Bob, who reacted by attacking both Wendy and Liam.

He is attempting to forgive Wendy, but he may not be able to do so in the long run.

Will he ultimately reveal Wendy’s infidelity to Cathy? If the teenager learns, she can lose control.
