Victor Anderson, a newcomer to Emmerdale, will flee from the police after being involved in a new crime against his own family.
Kevin Mathurin’s character as Emmerdale vicar Charles Anderson is enraged when he sees his mother Claudette rekindle her relationship with his father Victor (Eddie Osei).
Victor smiles, though, as he is pleased to see his son irritated now that he has managed to win back his wife’s favor.
Victor becomes violent when Charles confronts him about his treatment of Claudette.
Charles worries he’ll never get rid of Victor after Claudette catches the couple and slaps her son for wrongdoing.
In the meantime, Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) meets with Charles’ partner Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), who offers to return a necklace that was given to her by the late Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel).
Manpreet takes Jai’s advise to tell Charles how she feels about Rishi’s passing, and she does so.
When Charles learns that Victor overheard their argument, he becomes furious, and when his father prods him, the vicar becomes more determined than ever to get rid of him.
The following day, as Jai arrives to pick up the jewelry, Charles begs Manpreet to give him another chance.
But in an unexpected turn, it is discovered that the family heirloom is missing.
Victor instantly arouses Manpreet’s suspicion, and when Victor is implicated, he becomes defensive.
Claudette, who has been assured that her husband is innocent, is shocked to discover the jewelry in Victor’s pocket.
Manpreet makes a police call, and Victor flees quickly, horrifying Claudette in the process.
As they make a promise to find the jewellery, Manpreet and Claudette are questioned by PC Swirling about the theft.
Charles is stunned to find out what happened when he gets home, and Claudette is getting ready to go look for Victor.
Will Victor give the jewelry back, or has his time in the community already come to an end?
