Why Are Familiar ABC Soap Faces Popping Up on General Hospital?

We had to ask: How do you feel when refugees from other ABC soap operas show up in Port Charles? With news that One Life to Live’s Blair Cramer is moving to General Hospital, following in the footsteps of daughter Starr, Starr’s dad, Todd, lawyer Nora, and cop John, not to mention All My Children’s Jackson, and Ryan’s Hope Delia, we had to ask.

Blair (Kassie DePaiva) and Jackson (Walt Willey), who have an 8% parse, are acceptable, but after that, enough is enough. We were okay with Todd (Roger Howarth), John (Michael Easton), and Starr (Kristen Alderson) leaving quickly. There are numerous well-known GH characters who are underutilized. A clogged canvas won’t do any good.

GH: Naming Names

For 27% of the audience, it would be more beneficial to spend the time on Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) in order to give them the summer of love they have yet to experience. Or by allowing Tracy (Jane Elliot) to hit several Quartermaine heads against each other. Alternatively, you could give Selina (Lydia Look) the romance she deserves. Those from OLTL and AMC had better line up. Better yet, leave town immediately after leaving.

General Hospital: Gimme, Gimmer, Gimme

A winning 65%, on the other hand, is overjoyed. Your friends from Llanview and Pine Valley have been sorely missed. Even though you’d love to see the entire cast travel to upstate New York, you’ll make do with what you can get. Blair might be able to update us on what Dorian (Robin Strasser) and Viki (Erika Slezak) are up to when she arrives.

And Jack had better have an update on Erica (Susan Lucci) when he returns for the remaining portions of the trial. Perhaps his daughter Greenlee (Rebecca Budig) will also pay a visit. Providing she stays away from Finn (Michael Easton). Austin (Roger Howarth) should also be avoided by Blair. more for our sakes than for theirs. The heads of soap opera fans may blow up.
