as Rey Rosales passed away, Lola Rosales hasn’t been seen around much on The Young and the Restless as she moved from Genoa City to Miami to open a restaurant there. However, Sasha Calle, a performer, has many reasons to rejoice.
Happy Birthday, Sasha Calle
That’s because this fan favorite, who is turning 28 today, was born on August 7, 1995, in Boston, Massachusetts. Calle started really pursuing her acting goals after earning a BFA in Performing Arts from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
Her earliest credits include the web series Socially Awkward and the short films 18 Minutes, The White Shoes, Deep Cuts Final Stop, and Young Blood. In September 2018, Calle was added to the Y&R cast.
Her presence strengthened the Rosales family, which had previously been made up of the younger, impulsive Arturo (Jason Canela) and the older, though not necessarily wiser, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). Many people liked Calle’s performance, especially once she was paired with Kyle Abbott, played by Michael Mealor.
Calle received a coveted nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award for her work on the iconic CBS show. She won an even more desirable reward in 2021: the part of Supergirl in the motion picture The Flash.
In addition to her acting, Calle is a gifted singer, composer, and instrumentalist (especially on the guitar and piano). “Ex-Factor,” her debut single, was released in February 2020.
